dev40 has been an interpreter for The Language Company for over a decade. dev40 can speak 10 languages, including French, Spanish, Arabic and Mandarin. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from Maryland State University. During his time at Maryland State, he studied abroad in France, which has since become his favorite destination. Over the course of his career, dev40 has received numerous awards, including the Excellence in Translation Award from the Interpreter Association. If he could give an aspiring interpreter career advice, it would be to study the culture as much as the language.
